I'm going to Poland & want to cook American dishes while there. What is good source for American recipes?

Cooks.com has just about every recipe under the sunI'm going to Poland %26amp; want to cook American dishes while there. What is good source for American recipes?
Keyingredient and Allrecipes have good, easy recipes. You might want to stick to broiling, grilling or baking simple dishes though, since you may not be able to find other ingredients that you need there. Or, take some Dixie Fry (or Shake %26amp; Bake) with you; and some packages of Rice-a-Roni; and whatever spices you normally use......Bring a can of pie apples and pumpkin pie filling, so you can make pies thereI'm going to Poland %26amp; want to cook American dishes while there. James Beard's American cookery is a favorite for traditional American Food and Recipes- and Sheila Lukins USA cookbook has a more modern take on the geographical specialties of the US- These are both beautiful books and would make great host family presents- use them while you are there and leave with the families.
Betty Crocker cook book and Pillsbury cook book have traditional American recipes For American recipes online you just cannot beat allrecipes.com and cooks.com My Grandmother on my Mother's side came from Poland, wish I could go also! Have a safe and happy experience
Good idea! I think most Poles (including myself) think American dishes are: hamburgers, fries and turkey for Christmas.

I don't mean to offend anyone here.
Just fry it and add chicken broth, cream of mushroom soup and cheese. Tadaaa, American food.
