What's a good pasta recipe to cook for my lass tonight?

I was thinking something creamy as opposed to tomato based. And suggestions?What's a good pasta recipe to cook for my lass tonight?
Alfredo Mostaccioli





My friends love this Alfredo sauce and it can be used with any type pasta that will hold sauce well. I've also used this as a base for making a white pizza and it is excellent! Enjoy





INGREDIENTS:


1 (16 ounce) package mostaccioli


1 cup heavy cream


1/2 cup butter


1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


1 cup chopped fresh parsley


1 teaspoon salt


1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

DIRECTIONS:


Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.


Combine heavy cream and butter in a Dutch oven or large, heavy saucepan over medium heat. Heat until butter melts, stirring occasionally; be careful not to bring mixture to a boil. Stir in Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Toss with cooked pasta and serve immediately.

';A delicious pasta and chicken dish with garlic, sun-dried tomatoes and fresh basil. Use the dry packaged sun-dried tomatoes instead of the tomatoes packed in olive oil. The sauce can be kept, covered, for one day in the refrigerator; heat again over low heat. Try it with some crusty bread if desired.';

INGREDIENTS:


1 tablespoon butter


2 cloves garlic, minced


1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped


1 cup chicken broth, divided


1 cup heavy cream


1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves


salt and pepper to taste


2 tablespoons vegetable oil


2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil


8 ounces dry fettuccini pasta

DIRECTIONS:


In a large saucepan over low heat, melt butter; add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add the tomatoes and 3/4 cup of the chicken broth; increase to medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for about 10 minutes or until the tomatoes are tender. Add the cream and bring to a boil; stirring. Simmer over medium heat until the sauce is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.


Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides. In a large skillet over medium heat, warm oil and saute chicken. Press on chicken occasionally with a slotted spatula. Cook for about 4 minutes per side or until the meat feels springy and is no longer pink inside. Transfer to a board; cover and keep warm. Discard the fat from the skillet.


In the same skillet, over medium heat, bring 1/4 cup chicken broth to a boil; stirring the pan juices. Reduce slightly and add to the cream sauce; stir in basil and adjust seasonings to taste.


Meanwhile, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain, transfer to a bowl and toss with 3 to 4 tablespoons of the sauce.


Cut each chicken breast into 2 to 3 diagonal slices. Reheat the sauce gently if needed. Transfer the pasta to serving plates; top with chicken and coat with the cream sauce; serve.What's a good pasta recipe to cook for my lass tonight?
Half a pound of chopped beef half a pound of mild italian sausage remove from the casing.


Brown both in a pan until brown remove the grease. add 2 cans of tomato puree.add 1 onion chopped one green pepper chopped.add one cup of good red wine (not cooking wine it has a load of salt YUKKY). Bring it to a boil then simmer it for 2 hours the last half hour add half a cup of heavy cream stir it in have it with any kind of pasta you like you and your lass will love it.
Angel hair pasta ';nests'; with vegetables (you can also add grilled chicken). It uses alfredo sauce.
Greek Penne and Chicken





This is one of my favorite 'stand by' recipes. I keep the ingredients on hand to make a quick, delicious, satisfying meal.


Original recipe yield: 4 servings.





INGREDIENTS:


1 (16 ounce) package penne pasta


1 1/2 tablespoons butter


1/2 cup chopped red onion


2 cloves garlic, minced


1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into bite-size pieces


1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts in water


1 tomato, chopped


1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese


3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


2 tablespoons lemon juice


1 teaspoon dried oregano


salt to taste


ground black pepper to taste





DIRECTIONS:


In a large pot with boiling salted water cook penne pasta until al dente. Drain.


Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium-high heat melt butter, add onion and garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Add chopped chicken and continue cooking, stirring occasionally until golden brown, about 5 to 6 minutes.


Reduce heat to medium- low. Drain and chop artichoke hearts and add them, chopped tomato, feta cheese, fresh parsley, lemon juice, dried oregano, and drained penne pasta to the large skillet. Cook until heated through, about 2 to 3 minutes.


Season with salt and ground black pepper. Serve warm.

The good pasta recipe for me is a soup! I'm a soup lover! I call that Cheezy Pasta w/ Leche





Ingredients:


Pasta *depends on how many people*


1 big can of evaporated milk


hotdogs


cheese sauce


pickles


other veges





It's easy, simple but it's delicious!





1: Cook the pasta.


2: Put the evaporated milk to the pasta.


3: Heat the pasta using microwave oven. Let that in 5 min.


4: Put pickles as you want.


5: Cook the hotdogs.


6: After cooking put a lot of cheese sauce.


7: Heat that using the microwave oven, too!


8: Mix all the ingredients.


9: For garnishing, Put some lemon leaf into the serving plate.


10: Drink banana split for refreshing.
