Add figs to any salad








My favorite:


sliced tomatoes, add a slice of mozzarella cheese, a piece of basil, then a slice a fig, sprinkle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar - leave to room temp (cheese will be melty) enjoyAny good recipe to cook w/ fresh figs?
You know what I bet would be good?





Make some pecan shortbread cookies with a little dent (like a pressed in place with your thumb) in the top, and bake them off. Then cook down the figs into a paste type stuff and put a spoonful in the dip of each cookie. Sort of like a crunchy fig newton. I don't know but you might have to sweeten the figs. I have never worked with them before.
