Peanut and jelly (or just plain jelly) sandwiches with a glass of ice cold milk, preferably chocolate. They'll love it!! Plus you can vary the sandwich by using marshmallow instead of jelly or jam.
Good luck!!I need a cheap easy dinner recipe that toddlers will like with no cooking for a very hot summer day?
Why not make a plate with crackers, cheese, some cut up fruit, maybe some cold-cuts cut into shapes and let them eat on the floor on a blanket. An indoor picnic of sorts.I need a cheap easy dinner recipe that toddlers will like with no cooking for a very hot summer day?
PB%26amp;J sandwiches
Sounds like the time for an indoor picnic! Get a blanket or large tablecloth and spread on the floor somewhere (we use the living room). Make sandwiches that the kids like, pbj or something else the kids like. Add a bag of chips or fruit (apple slices, grapes, orange slices etc.) and maybe cookies for dessert. Pack it in a picnic basket or cooler gather up everyone and have yourself an indoor picnic! Use paper plates, plasticware and other disposable items as well so you don't have to send much time in cleaning up when you are done!
Mac and Cheese - you can cut up hot dogs and put them in there.

Kabobs. I use the things you would put onto a sandwich like ham, tomatoe, pickles, anything that will go on the stick. chedar cheese tends to break. but other cheeses would work. I let the kids make there own and they just loved it.
