I wanted to take my roomy out and get her a coat since its getting cold. But I figured I would go that extra mile and cook her a really romantic candle lit dinner tonight. I need a savory recipe that will blow her mind. What is a good romantic recipe to cook tonight?
Homemade Pasta Alfredo everyone loves! Sure winner.

Make it from scratch.

Boil linguine or fetuccini noodles

Sauce:

2 cups heavy cream

1 package cream cheese

1 tsp. garlic powder

2 T butter

1/4 cup shredded parmesan (the good kind in the specialty cheese section)

Bring heavy cream to hot, add in cream cheese, slowly heat and stir until combined. Add in garlic powder, butter and stir.

Cook on low/medium for about 4-5 mins.

Gradually whisk in the parmesan cheese.

Serve over pasta.

Add grilled chicken or some shrimp or veggies if you want.

Garlic bread and salad.

Something simple so you aren't slaving away for ages, get some really good quality asparagus and some expensive parma ham. Poach an egg for 5 minutes and lay it on top of two strips of the ham, then rest 4 asparagus tips on top x
Lemon roast chicken would be good. Just dress the chicken like you normally would for roasting and then stuff the cavity with a lemon cut in half. Then roast in the oven at 350 for about an hour.
