I'm not sure what you like or dont, but good sources of iron include red meat, fish, poultry, lentils, beans, leaf vegetables, tofu, chickpeas, black-eyed peas, fortified bread, and fortified breakfast cereals.

Red meat is high in iron... Buy a thinly cut New York Strip from your grocery store. Rub both sides with olive oil, salt and cracked black pepper. Sear the steak on medium high heat (let the pan heat up before adding the steak) in a skillet with a little bit of olive oil for about three minutes (max) on each side. Imemediately take the meat off the burner to another burner and cover with a lid (to let rest and cook the inside to a nice medium). Serve with whatever starch you may enjoy such as pasta, rice or a baked potato, along side of some steamed vegetables, such as broccoli asparagus or cauliflower
Yummy + iron = a nice piece of sirloin steak
