Does anyone have a easy recipe for baking or stove top cooking ham stakes?

This is basic...next recipe includes a sauce...

***Ham Steaks***

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)

2-3 large ham steaks, cut in halves

Heat a large skillet, with EVOO. Add the ham steaks and heat through, 1-2 minutes on each side.

***Ham Steak with Buttered Rum Gravy***

2 ham steaks

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons flour

2 cups chicken stock

2 tablespoons maple syrup

1/4 cup rum

Place a large skillet over medium-high heat with 1 turn of the pan of olive oil. When the pan is hot, add the ham steaks to the skillet and cook until brown, about 2 minutes per side.

While the ham steaks are cooking, melt 2 tablespoons butter in a high-sided, medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add flour to the butter, cook for 1 minute then whisk in 2 cups chicken stock and maple syrup. Add in rum and light. Let the fire burn off and cook until thick, about 2 minutes. Seve sauce over ham steaks.Does anyone have a easy recipe for baking or stove top cooking ham stakes?
Easiest recipe:

If the ham steak is too salty for your taste, soak at least an hour in milk or water. Discard milk or water after soaking ham steak. Pat dry. Pepper. If the ham steak has a generous amount of its own fat left, place in a hot skillet and cook until browned on each side, then deglaze the bits and use as a pan gravy.

If the ham steak is lean, use preferred cooking fat in a skillet that is slowly heating up.Does anyone have a easy recipe for baking or stove top cooking ham stakes?
